Google AMP sets the guidelines for creating faster mobile pages for any type of website and uses Google's infrastructure to serve content. Traditional websites using AMP have done well, but e-commerce websites often have a debate about the usefulness of this format. Can it deliver results? Is it a counterintuitive choice?
The Google-sponsored Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) project defines a standard framework for building fast-loading mobile pages. The open-source project has published a tutorial for creating AMP pages and provides a way to verify that your pages email list comply with the AMP standards. These standards prevent developers from using many features that delay page loading, such as JavaScript, ad tags, and so on. To publish an AMP-compliant page, you must use only Google-approved HTML and host your page content on Google's infrastructure.
For websites that target mobile visitors, Google AMP offers two significant advantages.
Faster Mobile Pages: The changes they recommend are good if your goal is to make pages load faster on mobile devices. AMP requires removing the most problematic page elements that slow down page load times and includes edge caching via Google. This can make your website content appear on a device almost instantly.
